We know! Bank Holidays are great, but then you worry about the things to be done (and the money you need to spend doing those things). Luckily, we’ve come up with some tips to keep yourself on track!
Shop online for deals, Martin Lewis has deals online especially for this Bank Holiday weekend from Restaurant Deals to Cheap Days Out - There are lots more to keep the thrifty spender in you happy, you just need to do a little digging!
Watch free movies - you can register online to Show Films First to see preview film screenings. (You do have to review the movie once you’re done though, but that worth it… Isn’t it?)
Why not go for a walk? It’s free and it’s great for you! The NHS state that “Regular walking has been shown to reduce the risk of chronic illnesses, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, asthma, stroke and some cancers.” Have some good old fashioned free fun and get healthy at the same time.
Check out a museum, most of them in England are free to get into Visit Britain will give you all the information you need to know about the museums and galleries in your area. This is a really good option if the Bank Holiday Weather is gloriously raining… (And you get your walking in too – see what we did there!)
